2025
The INTERFERENCE Series begun in 2025, synthesizes interest in seemingly disconnected areas: radio frequency, naturally occurring electricity, man- made electricity, the history of the work of Thomas Edison and that of Nicola Tesla and the commodification of their inventions and the technology and systems which have followed from those inventions and others which generate and transmit wireless signals: proximity to these devices and signals are at the center of most of our lives in the 21st century.

There is fear, awe, beauty, promise, danger, opportunity and unanswered questions about the safety of living things which are exposed to the vibrations, sounds, and radiation. Too, the infrastructure is both frightening and can be beautiful too in it's design and patterns, as it completely surrounds us, bisecting and controlling our lives as powerfully as our lives are dependent on, and in thrall to what all this interference provides access to, and at the same time, erodes. This needs to be seen. This needs to be photographed.
