The HANDS AT WORK Series is a photographic recording of work done by hand, be it the hand of a chef, carpenter, musician: any hand and any work. To date, the photographs of hands are in the process of work done for a living, perhaps with more focus, more awareness, more care, more precision, than work done for other purposes. We plan, however, to enlarge this into a two part series to better see, understand, and follow work done by hand outside this one aspect. As we learn more about this, as we study further, then perhaps our viewers will know more too. All art involves the eye studying whatever is of interest out there in the world, and whatever may be on our mind: we want to share that.
