The Filaments series is created in digital device photography applications. Each image is drawn rapidly, and the rapidity of the drawing process is central to the series: there is “no time”, in the sense of there being no time to change the images which have in effect, created themselves through the loose and fast movement of the hand across the digital device.

The images all have a vertical orientation, and color finds its way in at different stages of the drawing.
The images in this series of the Filaments were made in an ipad. Some of the images were copied, and used as a base for other images, and that repetition led in surprisingly tangential directions.
